Shikara - The Untold Story of Kashmiri Pandits is an upcoming Indian Hindi language historical drama, Romantic feature film produced and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under his own banner, Vinod Chopra Films.It is the story of resilience in the face of insurmountable odds. It’s also the story of a love that remains unextinguished through 30 years of exile.The biggest forced migration in Independent India whereby more than 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits had to flee the Kashmir Valley is shown in this story of resilience in the face of insurmountable odds. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful valley of Kashmir, Shikara talks about the ugly exodus of Kashmiri pandits from their homeland in the 90s, thirty years after the actual events took place.
